Brix Boards is a nonprofit creating string art for parents who have experienced the worst kind of pain imaginable - the loss of their child. We, Jason & Megan Steinke, the creators of Brix Boards, know this pain all too well.

On July 11, 2019, our son, Brix Atlas Steinke, was born a sleeping angel. On this day, we experienced love, life and loss all at once, something no parent should ever have to go through.

In honor of our son, we have started Brix Boards. We are taking string, wood & nails and making magic happen. We are creating hand-made string art for bereaved parents. We can make pretty much any design (ex. animals, symbols, flowers, letters, etc.) that reminds you of your baby. We also engrave your baby’s name and dates on the wood of the board. We take a picture of each Brix Board with our son’s stuffed raccoon, the inspiration for our logo.

Each board is made with an abundance of love, compassion & dedication. We want to give something from our hearts to those who have lost so much.

One Brix Board is free for the parents, but we do accept donations. We are a donation-based nonprofit and all (100%) donations raised will go to the cost of materials, shipping supplies and shipping of the boards.

We know Brix is watching over us and we know he will be guiding us as we create these Brix Boards in his memory.
